Privacy policy

This policy explains what Muljat Group Commercial collects through commercialbellingham.com, why we collect it, and who else can see it. It covers this website. It does not cover information you give a broker directly by phone, email, or in the course of a transaction, which is governed by your agreement with us and by Washington real estate law.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the subject, and your message. If you start the inquiry from a specific property, we also receive which property it was, so the right broker picks it up.

Standard server information. Like any website, our servers and our security provider record ordinary request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. We use your IP address briefly to limit how many form submissions can come from one address in a ten minute window, which is how we keep the form from being abused. That check is held in memory and is not stored in a database or linked to your inquiry.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information through this website. Please do not send financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or similar details through the contact form.

What we do not do

We think this is the more useful half of a privacy policy, so it is stated plainly.

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or third party analytics on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, and no social media tracking pixel.
• This website sets no cookies of its own and does not use cookies to identify or follow you. Our security and content delivery provider may set a cookie strictly to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic, and the map on our contact page is a Google embed that may set its own. See below.
• We do not track you across other websites.

How we use it

We use what you send to answer your inquiry, to match you with the right broker, and to keep a record of the conversation in our own client system so that whoever picks the file up knows what has already been discussed. If you ask to join our listings e-blast, we use your email address to send you new listings until you tell us to stop.

We also use it to keep the site working and secure, for example the rate limiting described above.

Who else can see it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They see only what they need to perform their function and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

• Email delivery. Your inquiry is delivered to our team inbox, and your confirmation is delivered to you, through a transactional email provider.
• Hosting and security. The site runs on cloud hosting infrastructure and sits behind a content delivery and security network that filters malicious traffic.
• Our own client system.Inquiries are stored in the brokerage’s internal system, which is operated for us and is not shared with other brokerages.
• The map on our contact page.That page embeds a Google map so you can see where the office is. Loading it means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. It is the only third-party embed on this site and it appears on that one page. The address is written out in text beside it either way.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our people, or the safety of others.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries as business records for as long as we have a working relationship with you and afterwards for as long as we need them for legitimate business, tax, and legal purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period and then rotated out. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can email or call us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. You can unsubscribe from the listings e-blast at any time using the link in the email or by replying and asking.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under state or national law. If you tell us which right you are exercising, we will handle the request accordingly. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This is a commercial real estate website intended for business use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
